The International Organisations Career Development Roundtable (CDR) brings together International Organisations across the multi-lateral sector, in particular from the United Nations System, the European Union and the International Financial Institutions, but also from the national public sector as well as private institutions.
The CDR is the major Human Resources event on the multi-lateral calendar, taking place annually with this year’s 2015 Career Development Roundtable in Madrid being the twelfth time this event will take place. Ever since its original conception, it has continually expanded with over 190 participants from 60+ Organizations with a cumulative workforce of approximately 250,000 staff during the 2014 event in Oslo.
The CDR aims to improve the management of Human Resources in International Organisations by creating a network for this very specific setting, enabling the sharing of best practices, policies, tools and ideas. It thereby enables participating Organisations to improve productivity, efficiency and impact to constituents by attracting and developing high-performing professionals. Thereby, the creation and maintaining of this network will result in the Organisations’ ability to deliver on their respective mandates more effectively with better leveraging of efficiencies.
